3-Dimensional TEAM UP!

Tuesday, Nov 23, 2010

I have worked with many people in my time. I have always been a great friend of Bob Virgulak. He has always supported me since I first decided to follow my dreams to help others with health and fitness in southern California. Not only did he believe in me back then, he remained a firm believer that I would go on to improve not only my life but the lives of many others no matter where I chose to live. After many productive and successful years in CA, I  have reconnected with Bob for an incredible vision. I look forward to what is in store and encourage all in and outside the area who are interested in a 3-Dimensional program covering everything from heated-stretch to fitness techniques, to health, cooking and wellness tips combined. All driven by passion and results!

**Please take a moment to check out the team and navigate around the site which is still in the developmental stages.

Thank you,

NPC Introduces Men’s Physique Division

Thursday, Nov 04, 2010

November 4, 2010 By Isaac Hinds

When the NPC Board of Governors met in Atlanta, Georgia a new division was announced… “Men’s Physique”. Next year (2011), the NPC will implement the division and we could see the IFBB follow suit in 2012. We’ll have to wait and see on the IFBB front but let’s focus on the NPC for now.

The new division is more a Muscle & Fitness / Men’s Fitness look and one that is sure to attract a following.

“Men who could do well at this show might have won a local level bodybuilding show but have no chance at a top spot on the National Bodybuilding scene. It’s not a bodybuilding competition, so you won’t see any front double biceps or most muscular poses here.”

Judging Criteria:

* Muscularity and Body Condition
Judges will be looking for fit contestants who display proper shape and symmetry combined with muscularity and overall condition. This is not a bodybuilding contest so extreme muscularity should be marked down.

Competitors will enter the stage without a shirt and barefoot. No lewd acts are allowed. Example: The moon pose. Judges are looking for the contestant with the best stage presence and poise who can successfully convey his personality to the audience.

Nationals ATL 2010

Thursday, Oct 28, 2010

For those who have been asking for some shots from the Nationals 2010 in Atlanta here we go!

It was a long journey since age 16 when I did my first contest as a teen; for this decision. I am thankful for being able too compete/qualify. I would have liked a few changes, but everything has already been put in the plan. I did my work and put in the time x 10! Few know the extent of my preparation while focusing on my friends/clients and those I care for during this process. However, It can be known that I treated every day up to the show as if I had already won, since I would soon achieve what I had visualized/ set out to do a while back.

By focusing on the positive while ignoring to pay attention to any struggle, hours of cardio, food prep, shopping, work, and everyday chores that can not be denied kept me on track. My mind had to welcome pain from time to time. I also had to convince my body that it was not done yet! (many times)

CHOICES:

Thursday, Oct 28, 2010

We all make choices on how "we" react to all situations. It is how "we" allow them to affect us. True. A strong mind, confidence, and visualizing what you want while avoiding a focus upon what you do want can clear your path. The path however shall be no matter how choppy the waters. The waves help re-direct onto the final results in life which you always deserved greatness in the end.

-Wisdom of experience

Nationals 2010 @ 3.5 wk out mark

Tuesday, Oct 12, 2010

Preparation has been steady over the past 6 weeks and it is time for a change in pace. Due to the conditioning and perfection I am looking to achieve it is in my best interest to increase volume, intensity, and focus over the next few weeks. This does not only entail a strict diet and dedication. This will involve sacrifice and the will too be comfortable in being uncomfortable more often.

  •     Cardio is set to 2 sessions of 60-65 min on the step mill.

  •     Diet is placed at an as needed basis for maximizing nutrition to match energy output in the gym.

  •     Training is at an intense yet smart mode o avoid injury yet create an environment for growth, hardness/graininess and maturity.

  •       Visualization is set towards creating details within detail through striations, density and an overall physic while staying within my weight-class as a middleweight.

**Accompanied are a few updated shots in Gold’s gym Venice CA taken by a good and well respected friend Eric DiLauro (Mr. Canada) of “New Generation Training systems.”

  1. Lighting is what it is in the posing room and can enable me to work harder than hat is really apparent in a good way.

  2. The lack of tan enables me to push myself harder and pay more attention to details before a darker color or tan can create a harder, more defined look. Again helping me to stay focused and pushes myself harder than can me seen through a darker complexion.

It's Official!

Wednesday, Sep 29, 2010

I have been training very hard towards the goal of accomplishing a physic which I would like to see as ready to unveil on a national stage. I have been doing shows for over 11 years and have always had the dedication of someone looking to improve every show in some way. I have decided; after many hard gym sessions, cardio sessions, dieting days, sacrifice from friends and family that this is my month to go for what I have dreamed of, a National stage. Faith and destiny are big factors in my life and I am always grateful for the journey. With the encouragement from family, friends and sponsors I will make October the month I step on stage for the nationals in ATL. There have been many events leading to this point as well as a much bigger picture for me afterwards as well. I look to bring a classic and conditioned physic on the 15th and 16th of October.  Thank you too al of my sponsors and a BIG appreciation too BodybyTFitness for helping too ensure a comfortable and stress free stay for the show. I will try and update on progress as I can.

As of now I have decided to fit in a few double and even 3 a days when able for completion of the style I will bring the ATL! I am still keeping up with clients, food prep and emails as usual because it is a passion which keeps me going strong. To see others success and help people on my journey is worth so much pleasure to me.

"Please don't mind the sun..I sure didn't lol"

ALL THE BEST!

Through the Eyes of Perfection

Wednesday, Sep 15, 2010

Setting goals or committing to a challenge is an opportunity for proving an individuals willpower and dedication. Striving for one of the largest accomplishments we can unveil in a field or sport is what intrigued me to get started in bodybuilding. Over the years I have sacrificed and experimented with diet and training in sight of building a reputation of conditioning, dedication, and an accomplishable healthy looking physic. My main priority has been to surpass my previous condition each show/photo shoot. In the process, I continue too keep interest upon influencing many friends, fans and family. With motivation and as an individual who provides proof for turning what may seem as impossible into a possible.

In the process of getting ready for my first nationals show I have come to realize that although my conditioning will live up to my motto come show day, I would not be able to provide the overall look I have been striving for since I began my new mission. To confirm what I have set forth requires me to take a back seat to the bodybuilding stage until both myself and my sponsor/mentor are satisfied. It is not a matter of putting in the time for cardio, sticking to the diet, and sacrificing time with friends and family. It is a matter of my team and I being 110% sure/satisfied we have reached our reasons for madness; as some may comment on at the sight of my preparation for achieving the exact look we are stuck upon. I promised too share updates of photos which I am still committed too.  There remain consistent improvements as training and diet become more advanced and intuitive on a day to day basis.

(1)   With the addition of custom formulations I have added quality muscle while reducing subcutaneous fats all over my physic.

(2)    The addition of both extremely high reps (1,000+) and slow-squeeze moderate rep ranges (8-12) I continue too provide both a transparent and denser physic.

 (3)   The addition of 40-60min stair master sessions per day helps etch extra details into my quads, hamstrings and glutes
